Pippa Reid Foster

Pippa is really looking forward to bringing her solo project to Cove Burgh Hall this spring. This programme explores the meeting place between contemporary minimalism, ambient soundscapes and traditional storytelling, with original music written for both lever and pedal harp. If you enjoy the music of Philip Glass, Ludovico Einaudi, Nils Frahm or Meredith Monk, you’ll likely love this programme. It’s not the kind of music you might expect to hear on the harp; atmospheric, immersive and rooted in place, with space for the music to really resonate. It will be a relaxed afternoon concert where she'll also share some of the stories and inspirations behind the music.
