We aim to support our travel trade partners in the UK and abroad as they develop and adapt their programmes for future sales.

ARGYLL BY TRAIN

Here we have details of a sustainable travel programme into the heart of the Argyll and the Isles region. An opportunity to sit back and enjoy the landscape as it changes into the amazing western Highlands. The journey takes a little over 3 hours from Glasgow to Oban with trains running 3 times per day.

ISLAND HOPPING

A glorious coastal region of glittering sea lochs, islands, hills and glens. It has 23 inhabited islands so it is a region which has travelling by ferry at its heart and the journey is very much part of the experience. This itinerary is designed for travel at a slower pace, for clients to enjoy the scenery, make plenty of stops to take in the viewpoints and to get to know a local lifestyle centred around the sea, beaches, mountains and sunsets.

DAY TOURS

Loch Lomond, Helensburgh, Dunoon and Cowal plus the Isle of Bute are without a doubt a hidden treasure only a stone’s throw away from the ideal destinations for a day excursion from Glasgow with the added benefit of excellent public transport links. Here we provide sample itineraries for each destination.

KINTYRE 66

Kintyre 66 is a sixty six mile loop around one of Scotland's most scenic and often overlooked regions. The route can be added to any itinerary that comes into the Argyll & the Isles region with the flexibility of making it a 1 day loop, or better still a 2 or 3 day programme for a more relaxed pace.
